Interactive Webinar: Learning Together – tools to help your child get the support they need at school

Unsure how to best support your school aged child get the support they need at school? Come along to the "Learning Together – tools to help you get the support you need at school" webinar. 

Delivered by the Australian Centre for Disability Law, this training is for parents of a child with disability. Learn how to use the tools in the Learning Together toolkit so that your child can get the support they need to learn effectively.

The training will be practical and interactive, and it will focus on:

• Your rights
• How to build a good relationship with your school or education provider
• Communication tips
• How to deal with issues if they arise
• Case studies from people with lived experiences.

The webinar for members of Parents of Deaf Children will be held via Zoom on Thursday 1st September from 7pm-9pm. The webinar will be Auslan interpreted and live captioned. This webinar will be live, and not recorded. Registrations close Wednesday August 31.
