POD Support Groups

What is POD?

‘POD’ is a network of local parent support groups open to parents and caregivers of children with any degree or type of deafness.

Raising a child with hearing loss provides unique challenges and rewards. Often it can be helpful to connect with other parents who can relate to your experiences. Even though sto-ries are unique and the journey is individual, parents share the experience of wanting the best for their child. Whether you are just at the beginning of your journey or have many years experience, POD is a great place to meet.

  • Provides opportunities to meet other parents
  • Offers information sessions
  • Allows parents to share experiences
